Outbid is a leaderboard you buy your way onto. Pay more than the app above you and take its spot. Every $5 you bid plants 1 real tree.
The board
The top five, bought outright
No algorithm, no upvote ring, no waiting list. Only five apps are on the board at a time, and the number next to each one is exactly what it paid to be there.

The forest
Every $5 is a tree in the ground
Paying for attention usually leaves nothing behind but an invoice. Here the invoice is the forest. $22,600 bid so far, planted through a verified reforestation partner, with the count on this page updating the moment a bid clears.
Five dollars, one tree
Not a percentage, not a rounding-up, not a portion of proceeds. Bid two hundred dollars and forty trees go in the ground.
Trees stay with the listing
Someone can outbid you tomorrow and take your spot. They cannot take the tree count you already put next to your name.
Counted in the open
Every bid, every tree and every click is on this page. Nothing is aggregated away into a marketing number.
How it works
Three steps, no application form
01
Pick the spot you want
Look at the board, find the app sitting where you want to be, and see exactly what it costs to pass it. The price is public and it moves as people bid.
02
Pay what it takes
Set how many trees you want to plant, $5 each, and that is your bid. It goes straight onto your listing total and re-ranks the board on the spot.
03
Collect clicks and trees
Your listing starts counting every click it sends you, and one tree per $5 lands permanently next to your name. Both numbers stay visible even after someone outbids you.
First place costs $3,845
That is the exact number it takes to sit above every app on this page right now, and it puts 769 trees in the ground on the way, one for every $5 of it. The price goes up the moment somebody else gets there first.

The awkward ones first
Is the ranking really just money?
Yes. Highest total bid takes first place, and ties break on clicks. There is no editorial pick, no secret weighting and no way to game it other than paying more than the app above you.
Does my bid expire?
No. Your total is permanent and only ever goes up. You keep your position until someone spends more than you have, and topping up at any time puts you back above them.
How do I know the trees are real?
Every bid is passed to a verified reforestation partner at one tree for every $5, and the running count on this page is the same number we send them. Your receipt carries the tree count for your own bid.
Can I bid on an app I do not own?
You can. Boosting someone else pushes their listing up the board and plants trees under their name. People do it for tools they love, and nobody has complained yet.
What counts as a click?
Anyone opening your listing from the board, counted once per press, shown next to your rank so buyers can see what the spot is actually worth before they bid on it.
What does it cost to get listed?
Ten dollars is the minimum opening bid, which puts you on the board and two trees in the ground. Where you land depends on who you outbid on the way in.
The grove
Explore the trees planted
Every $5 bid on this board ends as something standing in the ground. This is all of it, one block per tree, growing wider every time a bid clears.
